Newton Community Centre
About the Project
We are developing a new multi-purpose community centre in Newton for residents to socialize, exercise, learn and play. It will be a place where the community can enjoy a fun, inclusive, and healthy environment.
The new state-of-the-art community recreation centre will be on a 6.5-acre site at 6965 King George Boulevard. The multi-phase facility has the potential to provide expanded aquatic, cultural, library, and recreation opportunities to the Newton community.

Will the facility be accommodating working women that are 55 + for the exercise schedules? I was able to try a daytime class when I was off work during Spring Break. However, typically I work Monday to Friday and can not attend a daytime class and would prefer a class in the late afternoon to evening.
Katrina asked about 2 years agoThanks for your comment. The full range of programs offered will be determined closer to when the building is operational.

My nephew joined a swim academy in Park Royal, and they have a beautiful stainless steel pool. Do you consider a stainless steel alternative for the pools?
Peter asked about 2 years agoThank you for the question and the information about Stainless-Pools products. We are aware of the stainless steel pools technology and have physically seen a few example pools. At this time, we do not anticipate changing the technology we have for our community pools.
