A pool needs to be included in the scope of the expansion for Chuck Bailey because before there was pool in the Surrey central recreation building by the bus loop and in Guilford Aquatic center. With the huge expansion of buildings around central city area, why is the pool viewed as not part of this expansion?

    Ardita asked 13 days ago

The current budget allocated for the expansion does not include aquatic program or a pool.   If there are any other features that you would like to see, please take the survey and let us know.

Can we casually walk in there and explore the area? We tried to go there once but was prevented because the guy at the door said it's only for hockey players. I'm opposed to any expansion if it will only be for a particular demographic.

    Edwin asked 11 days ago

Please contact the Chuck Bailey Recreation Centre to set up a tour of the facility.  You are more then welcome to explore the area during our operational hours and when we have a staff available. The expansion will include an expanded range of recreation, arts, and culture programming; new indoor and outdoor amenities; and enhanced learning and social opportunities.  If you have any amenities that you would like to see, please take the survey and let us know what's important to you.
