Cloverdale Fairgrounds Master Plan

The Cloverdale Fairgrounds have been at the heart of the community for generations. From the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair to community celebrations, markets, agricultural events, sporting activities and everyday recreation, the Fairgrounds are a place where people gather, connect and create lasting memories.

Surrey City Development Corporation is developing a long-term Master Plan to guide the future of the Cloverdale Fairgrounds. This work will establish a vision that celebrates this unique site while identifying opportunities to enhance the Fairgrounds as a vibrant, year-round destination for everyone.

About the Master Plan

The Cloverdale Fairgrounds Master Plan will create a long-term vision that guides future planning, investment and decision-making for the site.

The Master Plan will consider how the Fairgrounds can:

• Celebrate Cloverdale’s unique identity in Surrey
• Support the continued success of the Cloverdale Rodeo and Country Fair
• Improve year-round activities on site
• Strengthen connections to surrounding neighbourhoods and Cloverdale Town Centre
• Improve accessibility, circulation and visitor experience
• Create long-term economic and community benefits

The Master Plan is intended to provide strategic direction over the next several decades rather than determine specific development projects.

Why are we doing this?

The Fairgrounds have evolved significantly over the years and continue to play an important role in Surrey's identity.

As Surrey grows, it is important to ensure that our neighbourhood facilities continue to serve the needs of our communities.

Developing the Master Plan now will help ensure future decisions are guided by a clear vision.

Project Area

The study area includes the Cloverdale Fairgrounds and surrounding lands that contribute to the site's function and visitor experience. The project will examine how the Fairgrounds connect with adjacent parks, transportation networks, neighbouring businesses and the broader Cloverdale community.
