The current Cloverdale Town Centre Plan was approved in 2019 and envisioned Cloverdale as the “historic heart of the city” – a distinctive, growing, and thriving community, that is pedestrian-friendly, and has a variety of housing types and local businesses.
Since then, new developments have been announced for Cloverdale Town Centre, namely:
These developments will steer the role and growth of Cloverdale Town Centre into a destination community for health and wellness, education, and entertainment. The plan update will consider these changes by updating land use, transportation, parks, urban design, and policy directions.
We are now in Step 2 of the plan update. This is our first time connecting with the community! Based on our research and findings so far, we have refreshed the vision, principles, and growth concept from the previous plan. We are turning to the community for feedback. Your feedback will be used to refine the plan, and will be compiled into a 'What We Heard' report and shared back to the community on the project page. So check back for updates!
